![]() ![]() I have to say that, after building my city to its maximum after reaching level 16, I was just producing, selling, earning, spending on expansion and Vu items, running disasters, shipping cargo by boat and plane, and raking in as many achievements as I could, and over three months time, it has been a real slog, and a bit low on the fun side. I am now simply waiting a little longer in order to build up cash reserves for my new adventures. As it turns out, a fully expanded storage was both the first goal met and the last goal met. I am proud now to say that I have just completed the last of those four goals yesterday, which was storage. That wasn't a real issue, since I still had all those other goals to meet, anyway. It can be.Īs to the goals, I actually had already completed fully expanding storage months ago, when the maximum was only 350, but then they added 150 to make the new maximum 500. I don't have anything against giving them money for the game, on principle, but I wanted to accomplish my goals without paying for it, to prove whether or not it could be done. With the new Earth update, I'm probably going to buy more, but only those that go to WWF. In addition to these goals, I also placed strictures upon my style of play, deciding that I did not want to use feeder cities, nor any kind of automation. My city is level 16, and I have just completed all the goals that I made before I would level to 17. ![]() That city began about six months ago, and I have taken a deliberate approach of only building new residences once my goals for different levels have been met. This would be my last effort with the game. Lamenting my predicament, I decided to wipe the slate clean, once more, and try a completely different approach. The second city seemed to go better with the knowledge gained from the first attempt, but by the time I had reached level 35, with my population around 225K, storage at 130, and very little land expanded, I felt sunk, trapped. My first city was an utter and epic disaster that I quickly realized had no hope of repair, so I deleted it and started anew. I began playing SimCity BuildIt more than a half a year ago.
